For APG we are looking for a Data Engineer.

They are an international team who serve the Responsible Investments Domain in providing strategic responsible investment solutions on the back of the Cloud technologies with the objective to support the investment strategies to achieve the best returns for their clients. On behalf of the Asset Management Responsible Investments team at APG, they are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. In this role, their focus will be on developing data pipelines for newly developed Investment and Research Platforms as well as streamlining data flows for existing platforms.
As an engineer you are responsible for, among other things:
- Analyzing and translating business needs to systems and processes; and developing and implementing feasible solutions to satisfy these needs.
- Set up and maintain Azure DevOps repositories to facilitate version control and collaborative development.
- Maintain a Databricks workspace and manage all its dependencies and connections.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that implement business methodologies, putting in place a clear documentation to support the pipelines.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools.
- Share and transfer knowledge to the team members.
- Contribute to development of strategies with the latest technologies.
- Create, challenge and validate pipeline/application design.
- Interact with both team as well as end users – front office, IT, Architecture.
- Support system, integration, end user testing and deployments.

Their team is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the entire delivery of a solution. The CMI-RI team comprised of international team members that collectively have the skills to get the job done every iteration. They work towards flexible and high-performing agile teams which are composed of members with T-shaped skills.
